Another big factor in your ability to see at almost any light level is the light color. The soft white yellowish bulbs don't give your eyes as much information as a higher Kelvin rated bulb. I use daylight bulbs in my shop.

LEDs seem to have an actual color that's a higher kelvin than the rating so some of the LEDs seem harsh when you get on up there above 5k or so. Also dimmable LEDs have a 60 cycle flicker than bothers some people so always get non-dimmable LEDs.

Wow, it's February, 2017? Geeze, does this mean I have to do all the stupid stuff I did for the last 2.5 years all over again? Not sure if I'm happy about being younger now, or sad that Social Security is now farther away...

Y'all wanna see my wang?

Gd Mornin' Perry (and the rest of ya...)
Give my regards to Butte. And don't show me yours.

Hope y'all have a safe trip. Keep us posted on your progress.

We were going camping this weekend at St. George Island, but the weather looked bad enough that the state park cancelled all reservations. I think it may have been a false alarm, but we'll see... It has rained here, and it wouldn't have been a good Friday night to camp out, but it wasn't anywhere near the tropical storm they warned us about.

I'm having coffee, and the Captain is not here. (YET!)

And then, mostly thanks to the Community with Chicory, I went out to the shop feeling all frisky... So I cut out the third and final (I hope) foam core for the wang. It needs a bit of sanding and I'll have to "section" a bit out of the nose to make room for the spar. Then we glue the whole bizness together and do some fiber-glassin'.

Got a family shrimp boil/monkey rodeo this afternoon, so I don't know when said fiber-glassin' will take place. It'll be soon... I HOPE!

Peace, Love and "Where'd That Monkey Run Off To???"--
