So you're smarter than those folks were last weekend at Daytona?

I wasn't getting paid, neither...
In an autocross, you run half the time, work the course the other half. So, I'd have been on a wet track, possibly in the rain, on slicks, in an open car and then out at a corner station the other half of the time. Just didn't sound like a lot of fun to me... Nor would I have really learned anything about the handling with the suspension improvements I made. And I didn't wanna drive two hours home in wet underwear... (yeah, go ahead, start with the "Depends" jokes...)

That's a heck of a drive to just look at all the pretty water.

Sometimes you almost have me in tears... and then with the "depends" jokes... ;-)

Yo, MangPong! Tears? Of laughter, I hope... Don't want anybody crying in here... I do enough of that over that damn car... :ack:

@David- Yeah, long drive to look at the weather, but I went home dry, and didn't spin out all over the place... AND, I tried out Bubba Jax Seafood Shack in Valdosta. They advertise fresh Gulf seafood, and after sampling the oysters and the shrimp, I believe 'em. So it wasn't a total loss.

Peace, Love and Fried Oysters-

Well I've driven that far to eat at a really cool place so the day wasn't a total loss.

And, on the bright side, you didn't have to clean the car up when you got home

It looks like Florida was the U.S. hotbed of dwarf tossing, JD.

Maybe you ought to try doing it over the front wheels of the Slotus before you load it on the trailer to go to an event? You know, if a driver can successfully toss a dwarf over the front track of the Slotus, it will be a podium event.

Of course, the down side would be the clean up, if it doesn't work out. :leave:

Perry- Do you know the joke about the guy in Mexico that complained about the small size of the "Cojones de Toro" entree at the restaurant next to the bull fighting arena? The waiter explained, "The bull does not always win..."

Yeah, apparently it was. I always thought it was a Pittsburgh thing. Also says it originated in Australia, and we know what a fun loving bunch of guys there are in Oz. So it's not all bad... I guess... Well, except for the little people...

Peace, Love and "Cojones de Toro" -

JD I'm surprised you had time to look that up. Now one of the guys up north buried in snow and negative temps I could understand.

Are you feeling well? Does it hurt and you got a temperture?

Actually, it came up in a news article I was reading, and I followed that lead to the Wikipedia article posted. We don't do politics in here, and I don't do them in general, but try a Google of "Neomi Rao dwarf tossing" and see what you get.

Interesting no matter what your political persuasion is. I wonder what she'd think of indentured servitude?
