Went to a Car’s & Coffee this morning and saw this fine example of a Gazelle. I can't say I've ever seen one in person before. Cool car,
That's the look I'm going for! Except wifey wants it 2 tone painted silver and electric blue with black upholstery.

Phew! I thought for a second that was yours completed and was about to congratulate you for being able to finish your project even when you are in another state. That would have been very impressive! Nice car.
Ha ha ha. Actually we arrived home a month ago. Haven't got to the build yet as I am putting together a 1/4 scale Tiger Moth. Then I've got a 2007 Nitro to get ready to sell. The I should be able to get back to the build.

I like how you casually drop in a line like that, like it's something people do everyday. That sounds absolutely brilliant, how does one create a 1/4 tiger moth, it's RC right? You don't have a sideline training capuchin monkey pilots?

Yes it's 1/4 scale RC Tiger Moth with a 38cc 4 cycle gas engine. Been assembling it for a couple weeks now. Did the CG balance yesterday. Have to install the 2 windscreens then it's taxi testing the maiden test flight at some point. Couple of pics.

Very cool, always wanted to get into RC planes, just don't have the space for it, and lately the time.

lol, to be fair Ron this plane was an ARF. This means the manufacturer has built and covered the airframe. They the buyer has to spend time to assemble it and install an engine and electronics. I would guesstimate I spent ~40hrs getting it ready to fly.

Well my Gazelle build hiatus came to an end this past weekend.

Pulled out the front fenders. They were both damaged due to garage rash during previous ownership. The tips of the fenders that mate with the body were broken/pulverized, the DS about 2" and the PS about 5".

Sniffing fiberglass resin, couple of pics.
