Thank you Marcus, It is an original.
Took the body home and SANDED for about 8 hours. Back to the booth Thursday morning and voila! Body is now in my garage to cure - Pacific Northwest weather is not conducive to paint curing.
Yes it is YELLOW.

I like Yellow, it's easy to see! That's important in a small car.

The painter asked me to bring my "shades" when I picked up the body.
Light chrome yellow by PPG. Painter shot a catalyzed non sanding primer (white), then 3 coats of color (non catalyzed!) and 2 coats of a good catalyzed urethane clear. His comment was - 6 walkarounds.
I paid $550 which included $300 for material. Paint has become very expensive but I thought he did a great job at a very reasonable price.
There were a couple of spots of raw bondo and raw glass that were final sanded with 320 grit. They were covered perfectly with the finish. That surprised me.

Driving and licensed on the road is the ultimate, the rest is just fussy details and shiny bits so give yourself a pat on the back

Thanks for taking the time to meet today. I had a great time talking cars and other stuff. You have one heck-of-a nice car with some very ingenious solutions too. Your craftsmanship certainly shows this is not your first build. I'm looking forward to seeing the finishing bits as they get done.

I think I saw your car this past weekend. I was vacationing in Victoria, coming back into WA into Port Angeles. I saw what appeared to be your car when I was getting off the ferry.

Had to be you now that I look at the rear pictures again. Very cool car to see in person.

Saturday?? I was in the Oldtimers Northwest rod run and stopped at Dairy Queen (across from the Victoria Ferry) for a Pineapple malt!!
Would have been good to get together.

yes, it was Saturday. I knew something was going on with all the nice cars headed to and in and around Victoria, but since I was not a local, I had no idea. I was stuck in the ferry line and noticed your car, but couldn't really go anywhere. Your car is impressive in person (even if at a distance).

regards, Greg
