You could cut the king pin lower tube for an adjuster for now, then cut the beam out later on and bolt-in a balljoint beam.

A Few Notes:
VW Bus transaxles have gearing that isn't optimal for track use.
The VW Balljoint beam will not directly swap on framehead in place of Kingpin beam - the center to center distance of torsion tubes is different. You'll need to swap the frame head...
