My design is essentially done to Alfa GTV6 suspension and wheelbase dimensions.....except the the engine is placed behind the steering rack instead of over the steering rack (at the rear of the oil pan). It turns out that the wheel track and dimensions of my design target (Ferrari 196) averages about 90% of the similar Alfa dimensions.

Today was about setting the wheelbase, and wondering what changes I might need to make to the dedion front attachment bar. There is a fellow in Sweden that makes a "Pagano" sports car using alfa underpinnings. In his design he uses coil overs front and back....I am using torsion bar front suspension from the Alfa gtv6. He also cuts the front dedion mounting bar and incorporates it into his frame. This could make for difficulties in servicing the clutch and transmission later.

The mockup with an Alfa seat and steering wheel is to see if I can accomplish the seating as far back as the 196 without hacking the dedion front brace.

No scale provided today.
