Not sure if you guys knew, but I've decided to part with the Mini. I walk past it in the garage every day and it doesn't make me smile like it used to. I think the insanely long wait for Justin to get it done flipped the switch in my head.

I've moved on to focus on the 7 build and I'm planning to pick up the A Mod project from thewelder in TN. He' skeeping the car kit and I'm buying all of the chassis bits. Wrecked bikes pop up around here all the times, so I know I can source a powerplant.

phone has been blowing up for the past few days. I guess the market is hot for a modestly priced Mini project.

Today I gathered up the mini and all the various bits and pieces. Tomorrow she goes on a trailer bound for Texas with a new owner.

The real trick was getting it off the high table and onto the welding cart. I put and enxtension in the boom of my engine hoist and went through the rear window opening. I tied to the roll bar and braced against the windshield opening. Lifted off the table easy as pie. Getting it down on the cart took a bit of luck to keep it from shifting as the boom dropped below horizontal.

Everyone wave goodbye. The Mini is on her way to Texas with a stop in Georgia to mick up a MiniTec swap kit. I think he's spending more on the swap kit than the car. It will be purely a fun toy as he has a nicely restored 60 and there are a couple of other nice Minis in his family.

Now that I have more space in the garage there should be some progress on the 7.
