Looks good on the drive. It must be a giggle to get into it. I'd like to see a video of that.

Hi WireAdict - have enjoyed this build, and am quite envious... I am close to starting my first build - and I already have ideas for the second and third... lol.
One thing: maybe I missed it... but what happened to the plywood between the gearbox/bell housing. I was expecting it to be used to make an adapter plate... Or was it a giant gasket...? lol.
Cheers, MangPong.

It was just there to help line up the drive train during the initial frame design. It was replaced by an adapter I purchased from ToyotaV8.com.

Much better drive video with a GoPro. Gives you some idea of how she handles. On the dyno it has 316 hp and 310ftlbs of torque right now. Just weighed her in at 1800lbs. Those are very satisfying numbers out on the pavement!

I’ve been street tuning the Haltech Elite 2000 and it’s a fantastic ECU. The quality of the build and software is excellent. If anyone has questions about the Elite series ECUs let me know. It’s the most expensive part on the car and worth every penny.

You've definitely got the rat thing going. Nice pipes on the ride.

I’ve started to piece together the wooden lid for the rear. I need some cool ideas for latching it down, let me know what you think.

If you do not have to lift or hinge the rear lid ? The deck lid is glued or biscuit - ed together? Then just use 4 old bumper bolts, carriage style. One in each corner. If you have to lift the lid how about old style spinners off of hub caps or wheels. Davew

Here’s a video of Probable Cause thrashing around in 2019. Basically I have some body work to do but the car itself is finished. As much as I love this beast I’ve been thinking of selling her to find another build. I’ve loved the build process and am so glad this forum has been a resource for all of us to do this ridiculous hobby!

That was a fun video. You're a very bad influence on impressionable people like me. Keep it up [LOL].

I hope you host your next build here too.

Cheers,
