Stewart is working on a 40s era modified right now. He's pretty active over on the HAMB.

Thank you factoryparsjoe for posting this info.. I've often thought about Stewart, and I was so hoping all was well with him and his family

Hi guys'
Back from the dead! Sorry a little gallows humour.
I was formerly known as Limeykid, but have had trouble logging in. It was just easier in the end to register again. This is my new name from now on, well actually its my old name, but lets not confuse everyone, especially the marshals at witness protection!
So, where to begin.
After I finished the '25 Roadster and raced at Wilmington, I took a break for a while. I made the roadster street legal registered and insured it. Didn't drive it much, just enjoyed my coupe really. I originally thought that the roadster was going to be my last car. Guess what, there's life in the old dog yet. So I decided to build something else. Not being financially wealthy, that meant selling the '25 Roadster to be able to build something else. I knew it had a limited market, priced it accordingly, and it sold.
I would check in here from time to time watching what you guys were up to, but couldn't make any smart arse comments, as I couldn't log in. Probably for the best eh! In the UK my buddy runs something called the VHRA, Vintage Hot Rod Association. They hold various events, the best known as the Pendine Race. Its held on Pendine Sands, the same beach that the worlds first land speed record was set on. Its vintage Hot Rods and Kustoms only, which makes for some great photos. Google it, you will find some great images.Anyway, my best buddy invited me over for the race, and said I could run his roadster. Didn't need asking twice! Had a blast. Also fell in love with '40s style Hot Rods. They are the complete opposite of a Lotus. The frame is a basic ladder frame, flexes like a bugger, heavy, very high centre of gravity, and handles like a barrel in a storm. Sounds great! So that decided it. I was going to build a '40s style Hot Rod, Gow Job, as they were known in the forties.
That's got you up to the start of a new build. I'll start a new thread tomorrow, time for bed now.
See you in the morning. Good night.
Cheers,
Stewart.

Hi Guys,
This is Stewart. I've been having difficulties logging in under Limeykid, so I registered again under Stewart Woollard. Lets see if this works.
Cheers,
Stewart.

Welcome back Stewart :D

A new interest, a new direction, a new project, a new beginning... how cool..

You'll start a build log on this new Gow Job of yours? My vote is to title it "Barrel in a Storm"

..So nice you're back.. looking forward to where your muse takes you..

Hey Stewart, it's good to have you back. I saw the roadster pop up for sale and before I found it a deal had been struck.
Someone got a very nice toy for a sweet deal.

Yo, Stewart! Really good to hear from you! Looks like you're enjoying life, and that's a very cool thing. Good on ya! Keep us posted on the "Barrel in a Storm" project, I can't wait to see where that one goes!

I'm curious how much the roadster sold for if you don't mind disclosing. Buying vs building is becoming more of an appealing option these days for me.

Nice to see you back, Stewart. This is the first time I've seen your last name. It's fairly uncommon.
You wouldn't be related to David and Sara Woollard in the Ann Arbor area, would you?

Cheers,
