yeah. no. it won't. Sorry Rod. Calling it a spoiler is certainly correct, because it definitely spoils the nice smooth lines of the car. Further, that's a factory bolt-on unit, and I'd be surprised if it had any meaningful downforce at all. The far greater majority of factory "spoilers" are styled, and not much else. Its a great drag-producer, for sure. not just aerodynamically either 'cuz it a bit of a drag to look at.

if you want to kill lift at the back end, it'd be better - and better looking - to install a simple lip (like the '68-72 Stingray) and build a Kamm-style flat tail underneath for tailight space.
On the other hand, the Corvette windscreen is brilliant, so the karma is balanced. Barely.
