I've been working on my trike for two years technically and your already ahead of me. How am I supposed to feel about that?

Plan c could have been much quicker, Shogun festiva style, but I'm sure you'll get much more attention/business as an exo.

Fact is that the entire chassis will not be touched so I actually have the ability to do plan C later.

So does that mean you're building up the frame and will pull molds from the sheetmetal for a glass body?

As a Cooper owner/enthusiast, I applaud you for taking it to the next level! I've been thinking about a Mini based midi for quite a while now...

Greg,
I've done a little of bit experimenting with time lapse on my GoPro. It really depends what you are trying to achieve. The 1 or 2 second setting will produce a smoother playback. Here is a little flying video I did, with a short time lapse, shot at a 2 second interval. About 24 seconds, which shows about 25 min of shooting time. https://vimeo.com/49916641
However, if you are trying to show your complete build as a time lapse, where the car appears to grow from nothing to a finished project, you may need to shoot at maybe a 1 minute interval. If your build were to take 1,000 hours, that is 3.6 million seconds, at a 2 second interval you would end up with about 8 hours of footage, at 60fps playback. At the 1 minute setting, it would be about 16 min.
Another challenge with time lapse sequences, is the editing. If you're trying to edit out your good looks  every time you turn on the camera, at a fast setting, you'll be going through a lot of pictures.
BTW, I'm no expert by a long shot. This is just from my own farting around
I do enjoy your build.

Is the sanctioning body that the car will be racing with OK with square tube in the "door bar" section of the frame/cage? I don't know the rules you're playing by, it just looks a bit "funny" to me... :?: :?: :?:

Looks great. I raced a S-10 with NASA and at about 100 mph she felt like a 4' x 8' pice of ply wood going through the air! And that was not the 1/2 face. Had 138 HP to the ground, but "NO" airo!!! How do they get that front end to work? Just over power it?

Do round tubes yield at the same rate as square tubes? Saying the wall size is the same.
