Been busting my but to get it to this point and I got to say it was all worth it. The car handled amazingly, went exactly were it was pointed. Was alittle down on power though which was kind of disapointing but that can be worked on. The kids loved going for rides too. Couldn't pry them out of the car. It was alittle scary though without brakes, especially going down my steep driveway.
I know, I know, this post is pointless without pictures. I'll get them up shortly.
At this point I really feel I need to thank everyone that has helped me out. Of coarse I really need to thank everyone on the board here who has encoraged me, and inspired with your own builds and that I have learned so much from. I couldn't have gotten to this point without all of you. I'd rather have 5% of the brains of 100 people than 100% of one person! and that one person is myself!
I'd also like to thank:
Rich Pope of Budget Blinds. Thanks so much for letting me borrow you sweet welder. You saved me from pulling out all my hair in frustration with my week sause HF welder.
Allen Brester of Brester Masonry. Your brick work is great and so was the use of your Plasma cutter.
Tony Scherr fo Comfort Heating. Thanks for helping me bend up my gas tank. I'm definatly having you put in a heater in my next garage because the winter months of building my car sucked!
If anyone needs any of these guys services in the Billings, Montana area, look them up. They are top notch guys and so is their work!
Being a contractor I have lots of great, and talented people that are always willing to help out, but of coarse there is one peorson I couldn't have gotten this far without. My wife. Thanks Amber for supporting me in this crazy dream of building a car!
