Long time without an update, but hers's one now..... I went to the Bunny Run in Jackson, TN this weekend and found a gas tank in the swap meet that looks like it will work for this thing. It is a plastic fuel cell with an aluminum sheet metal cover. I can't find anything like it online, but it looks like it will work for me. Toyota? Are you going to run the Stude in some displacement class, or do you just like the motor? Since you're into retro, I would have expected you to use a Northstar to build a modernized Studillac! |

I hope the small displacement buzz bomb will be fun with the close ratio trans....and still get decent gas mileage. ...and have Toyota dependability. |
