Përshëndetje Albania,

I'll admit that I had to look up Albania to find out exactly where you are located. A long way from here! Welcome to the Forum. I enjoyed your photos of the construction of your body with foam.

Bill

Thank you for the hospitality,
I know that Albania is far from you, but this forum before 3 years was my inspiration to start this car from the beginning together with my friend Olti.
We have reached this point without the help of anyone.
But now we have a problem, do not know how to do make decuments for movement as all other cars. Albania country there are no laws that give us the right to a normal car. Can help us with any ideas how to resolve this problem?

Nice build, very resourceful. Could you somehow register it as a rebuild of the donor vehicle?

maybe register in another country and import it to albania.

buy a car take the chassis number off and weld it to your frame then use documents for puchased car.

bribe a official.

That's a very nice result under difficult circumstances. Congratulations.

I've not been in Albania, but have been 12 miles from it in international waters. Foreigners were forbidden from travel to it back then and it was a bit like North Korea, only warmer :D . I did give a nice wave to some Albanian fishermen, though.

How about "exporting" your car to Italy, or some other car-friendly EU country, and then "Importing" it as a licensed vehicle back into Albania? If that doesn't work, how about buying a licensed "junker" in Albania, physically transfer the license plates to your Locost, and then just keep paying the periodic license fees for the junker? Would the police be likely to stop you?

Cheers,

Wow, what a fantastic achievement in Albania!

I would wait a year and you will be a part of the EU and getting your car on the road should come under those laws.

I can't help you on the registration but wear a respirator while you're painting!

Car and peach for everyone!

The vehicle "donor" that provided the engine, transmission, axle, suspension, etc has documentation.
You have modified the vehicle, but it is still the same vehicle. You did not manufacture the engine, transmission, axle, etc.

Why not mercedes donor? Are not most of the vehicles in Albania mercedes?

Impossible, sorry Mate, every Western country the car has to be inspected.

One presumption one could make of your request is that the origins of the donor car aren't exactly kosher ...
