Yo-
Some good friends of mine are running in the Crow Mtn. Hillclimb, near Scottsboro, AL. They tell me that Heikki Rinta-Koski (HRK in here) is FTD for today's timed runs. He's in his modified CMC Seven with a turbo'd Miata engine. He's probably too nice to brag, but I thought y'all might wanna know...

Well  , we need more pictures like this one!

It seems he's so fast that while the back of the car is going around one corner the front is going around the next corner! See what thinking ahead will do for you.

Thanks everyone!

Yes I was there, sorry to miss announcing the event before.

The 2011 Crow Mountain Hillclimb is history now and it was great event. The hillclimbers are really nice bunch of people and the cornerworkers are the best. Coming down the hill to check out their antics was almost as entertaining as going up. So Thank you, organizers.

The results are out:

And I ended up with the second best time in Crow Mountain history. Pretty pleased of that.

Sorry, no in-car videos, but there may be something coming out to forums later.

hrk

Man, sorry I missed the event. Didn't know about it. I live about an hour from there. Maybe next time. Anyway, congratulations. The margin was very impressive.
