Very nice. You seem to have a relatively compliant suspension. Do you know what the naturally frequency is on it? |

Hi Justin, No I don't. I've never calculated it for this car. Chassis is a Deman SR7, which is very similar to a "book chassis". Rear is running Tbird IRS knuckles. Coil-overs are Protech. I haven't looked at the spring rates, and I run the adjustable dampeners on full soft. No anti-roll bars... When I first got the car, it was almost un-driveable. The rear suspension was binding so bad, that the car had uncontrollable "snap" over-steer. The previous owner had put poly bushings in the IRS knuckles and done up the bolts "tight". I replaced all that with Delrin bushings and torqued the bolts just right...the suspension cycles freely now, and the difference was night and day. I'm probably going to make some custom 3pc wheels for it this Spring so I can try running slicks. I bought some super light aluminum wheel hoops off craigslist for $100, so I just need to machine up the centers. Near impossible to find 5 on 4.5" in a 15" rim, with high positive offset. Current rims are too narrow for the slicks. When I undertake the wheel project, I'll take a closer look at the specs and let you know. Figure out the motion ratios, spring rates etc.... |

What are those front spindles from? It looks like the top ball joint is underneath the top of the spindle. I'm more used to seeing them on top. |
