So we held our last points paying Solo event of the season this past weekend. And we held it at our "Mecca" of a site, the late "Seneca Army Depot". 7000'+ long runway
I was suprized with 2 Seven style cars in attendance. One was a "Saber 7" and the other was a Caterham. The Saber is a little bigger than the Caterham, i think that he said +4 in the seat and BOY did it make a difference. I had to sit in them both since i Tech inspected the cars
I had to wedge myself into the Caterham, I could stand to loose a few but i don't see myself as a big guy 6'1" 200lbs. Man am i glad that i'm building a 442.
We are a SMALL region and we had good attendance ~57 drivers. We got 8 runs in on a 60sec course, and left there by 5pm. Not a bad day.
My best time was a 58.401 In my Honda Prelude.
The fastest time in a car was a Lotus Exige with a time of 50.886
This was the Caterhams first event he ran a 63.782
The Saber 7 runs often it seams and turned in a 56.464 not bad for being powered by Pinto power.
Enough with the gibber jabber, and on with the pics.

I have TONS more pics.... But they take forever to upload.
It sure was fun to see some sevens at a Solo before i actually run mine
(not that i'm anywhere close) You could not ask for a nicier day to end the Solo season 80° in late sept.
