Has anyone else here who has driven one of these 7ish cars in anger had trouble with their legs getting banged up? Maybe me and my brother in law are just soft but my (an his) legs are really sore in the fibula head (outside of leg just below the knee) region from banging on the tunnel getting on and off the gas. Maybe my tunnel is just too tall. :?

If you're hitting a frame rail, padding is recommended. Not just for comfort, but if you go off, getting slammed by sideways-moving chassis tubes is going to hurt.

Yup. I get a permabruise there early on in autocross season. Been meaning to put some padding of some sort there. My next one will have round tube for the tunnel to help reduce this.

I used to climb out of the car with blood on my driver's suit legs. Eventually it stops. Padding might help.

So psyched to see the upgrade in your avatar! I hope it takes more then a case of severe bruising to get the smile off your face.

People look at you funny but knee pads can be a great thing.
