SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!!!
Tomorrow I wake up way too early for my very first autocross!!!
(Well, except for the one I did two years ago in sweetie's Civic...)
Not to mention my very first drive in the Seven!!!
(Well, except for the ill-fated trip around the block two months ago...)
Gene "Scrabblegod" spent the day in my garage, double-checking my nut-n-bolt inspection, figuring out a baseline alignment (Thanks, Kinetic Vehicles!), and whatever miscellaneous things we could find to do. We were done by around 9 PM, which is unheard of before any sort of event/project/trip of mine. Usually I set my alarm for 7 am on my way to bed at 3 am after deciding whatever it was was "close enough."
Tomorrow is a test and tune event for the Central Kentucky Region SCCA club, which seems serendipitously appropriate. I'm certain it will be a bit of a farce, as my tires have been sitting in a barn for at least 5 years, and I have no idea how old they were then. They are about as shiny as the top of my head! I considered running out and getting some today, but I have no idea what to buy and didn't want to get impulsive about it. And I'm cheap.
So...anyone headed to Applebee's Park in Lexington, KY Sunday, stop by and say howdy...you won't have any trouble finding my car, I promise!

ps. THANK YOU, GENE!!!
