I have been browsing for a while, and am excited to start my build. Donor is stripped, and i am about to cut steel. Measure twice, and cut once is a good rule to follow, so i have been trying to gather as much chassis information as I can. It seems that 3 years ago Vodou freely published as set of plans, for a Miata based build, however it looks like they are not around anymore....

Does anyone have a link to a full set of their documents that can be downloaded? Or can anyone hook me up with a set of the documents?

Any help or pointers for this would be greatly appreciated. As they were freely available for private use, I would expect there is no issue sharing a copy?

Thanks in advance, and happy locosting!!!

If the plans are free and available, you can upload them here into this thread in a zip file. Then problem solved for others in the future too. If you think it's contrary to the wishes of the folks that made the plans than don't bother, obviously. I don't know the story here.

There is actually 2 parts to the plans. The first is the frame and the second is the wishbones.
Here are the wishbones. Frame plans are too big to upload as a zip file. I might try splitting it into smaller files

Here is the build guide (I think) for the Haynes roadster with MX-5 revisions (what the Vodou plans really are):

https://drive.google.com/viewerng/viewe ... VjZjVjM2Uy

And right here on our own website, are the 3 vodou zipped files: viewtopic.php?f=39&t=14150&hilit=miata+based+frame+plans

Thank you very much to all who contributed here. Is there a common area/repository on this site where files like this can be kept and shared to make it easy for people to find?

For example, it would be great to have a 3D model of all of this, but that is going to take another search to find.

A common location could be useful to me, and all future people like me looking for a place to start.

Happy Locosting!!!

There is a 3D model of the Haynes chassis on GrabCad with a Rorty rear suspension done in SolidWorks. The Miata/MX5 front and rear uprights and steering rack are also there as well. It would be easy to change the suspension to the Miata compatible parts.

Sorry to revive this old thread, but I would like to study the Saturn drawings and I can't find it anywhere else.
There is a password to download from the above link.

The Forum does accept zip files. So if you can zip it, it should work.
