All the fabricators locally seem to have gone out of business for one reason or another.
Petty excuses, retirement or death.

I doubt my HF bender can render what I need without flattening or kinks.
Need to determine wall thickness but should not have to be particularly heavy since it's going into the TR fame and there will be additional space-frame structure.
This is to modify a formerly flat TR4A frame rail to have a kick for rear axle travel with trailing arms.
Currently the axle is sitting on the under-slung frame.
I want some travel without lifting the inside wheel or being so stiff as to be a large Go-Kart.

2.5" OD tube, 14" long and 5.0" apart measured at the inside.

Clamping a reinforcement bar in place at the bottom until welded.
My thought is to hole-saw the TR frame from the top stopping at the top of the lower frame rail surface.
Welding to the perimeter of the U bend has to be stronger than welding the end of the U to the top of the old rail.
Then remove the brace and weld through to the ends of the U.
Other suggestions?

Wish I could sketch this in CAD. :BH:

Does it absolutely need to be a 7.5" CLR (5" inside)? Summit has exhaust bends in that diameter in mild steel and 16 gauge but with a 6" CLR and legs that are too short - might be a start.

Ahh, 6" CLR is OK but I'm thinking I need better/heavier steel than exhaust tubing can provide.

Try http://www.mandrelbends.com

(seems too obvious, doesn't it?)

They are primarily aimed at exhaust, but have 16, 14, and 11 ga steel in assorted radii and angles.

(edit) Just re-read your original post, they probably don't have what you need, but they do have a pretty good assortment.

Is there any reason why a 2x3 (4) tube (fabricated) arch would not work?
The TR3 was 2X3 channel, maybe 2x4, and the 4s were of similar construction. (Memory a little foggy when I try to remember things that I worked on in my 20s)

http://welderseries.com/

Maybe these guys?

Failing any other option, there is: http://aggressivetube.com/

Pretty sure they can do anything that can be done with tube.
Failing all other options, there's always a cutoff disc and a welder......

May have found a company in Reno.
They were supposed to call me back but it was only a half-hour before closing.
Maybe tomorrow.

Couple of good links above, now sure I will be able to find what I need.
