Maybe I had my hopes to high. Maybe I thought there would be enlightenment and angelic music when I opened the hard cover. I certainly thought my big ordering company *A* pre-loved edition wouldn't have been soooooo pre-loved.

The coveted Haynes - BYO Sports Car for as little as L250 - And Race it has finally arrived.

A) I didn't realize *A* farms it's orders out to other entities.
B) The other entity was in Bloody Ole.
C) Ordered 10/04 - Arrived 10/30 ... Drone must have flown the wrong way round.
D) Pre-loved means tape on the back binding, broken inner stitching, someone else's finger prints and coffee rings on the pages. Is this weld flash/burn?

But it is here and in the 3 chapters I've read so far it is endearing itself to me. I am beginning to want to try the true Locost of the build. My local steel yard has quoted sq. tube required for $199.00. 4 more chapters and we shall begin.

"Amazon" isn't a bad word here.

Sounds like you got a much loved copy, that may include some gems in the margins.

Nothing quite like pre-loved books, they can be magic in themselves.

Are you planning to follow the book plans exactly? There are known errors in the book, and a number of highly-recommended mods that can greatly improved the torsional rigidity of the chassis. Search for "McSorley mods"
