Are there pre fabricated ones or easy way to make these? I have a rage 3 chop saw and an angle grinder.

There are prefab ones. I used some of Jack McCornack's stuff (laser cut really nice) (Jack is a moderator here, genius and all-around great guy) and some of Jeg's shock mounting brackets.

I've been doing this out of spare change, so nothing expensive in my build. However, the brackets seemed to be too important to trust my my fab skills. Besides, we're not talking about 18 ga steel here -- how do you feel about working 3/16 steel?

Kinetic is a great supplier and is semi-active here on this board. He has a lot of Locost parts including the fiberglass bits.

A&A has a broader line of just about everything br@cket related (and more).

If you're making brackets yourself a sturdy bench vise is your friend. Unless you have a. Bending brake heavy enough to build brackets with. I'm working on a small bending brake for just an occasion right now. Not pretty but hopefully functional.

Yo, Hidden-
Go to Speedwaymotors.com and search for "shock mounts"... They have various types (flat bottom, curved for mounting to roll cage bars, wide/narrow, etc) of weld-on shock mounts that will work dandy for mounting the heim joint ends of control arms to the frame.

Mmm. Thanks guys. Let me do some research. The thing is, I am using the Vodou design. And two of the suspension mounts are actually 6mm shorter than the book ones. These are ones I am looking for.

What are the dimensions? I can look into having our laser-and-bender guys do a batch. And how many are needed per car?

Oh Wow! Are you the same Jack from Kinetic? ^^

I attached a photo of it. For the Vodou design, it just need 2 for the front upper brackets. The brackets are 6mm narrower. I am not sure if I'm breaking any rules taking a screenshot of the design.

Do you guys also do the rear suspension arms? I was hoping to see if I can get a complete suspension arm kit and mount from you for a Miata donor.
