Well, I'm still waiting on my books.... I bought them off of Ebay and the seller has been a bit slow.

I've been doing some research and keep hearing about "Saturn" plans. Now I'm somewhat confused as to what plans would most fit a Miata build: Saturn, Vodou, "Book".... I'm hoping I can build most of the frame according to the book and "throw-in" Vodou and/or Saturn plan additions on front and rear suspension design (?) Where would one find Saturn plans?

Thanks!

Saturn was a UK based builder of Locost type sports cars. There was PDF file of their modifications to the Haynes Roadster using Miata components.

Here's a thread discussing it:

Here's a very nice build using them:

Cheers,

Is an original Stalker frame similar to a book +221?

Stalker is a 221, very similar to the follow up to the Rom Champion book. I have a PDF of this book:
https://www.amazon.com/Build-Your-Own-S ... 1844253910

The builds are often called "Haynes" builds cause the book was published by Haynes.

In this follow up book, Chris Gibbs makes corrections are made to the Champion design, plus all of the most popular modifications (ie, "Aussie mods" to strengthen rigidity, add 2", etc). By this time, Ron Champion had run into some personal difficulties and wasn't really around to follow up (or something).

And I also have the VooDoo plans if you need them.
