Hi Guys, I am doing the rear bulkhead or the boot of the frame. The haynes roaster plan asks for 19mm tubing at a radius of 84mm. I was wondering if theres a place online where I can buy prebent elbows and just weld them to straight tubing. A lot easier than buying a bender or making a jig for it. |

The McSorley drawings show this tube to be 2.0" Radius at the outer surface of the bend. See drawing below. Columbia River Mandrel Bending offers a 3/4" diameter mandrel bent, 180 degree piece that is a 1.75" R at the centerline. See attached link. http://www.mandrelbends.com/mandrel-bends/mild-steel-16-gauge/0-75-mild-steel-1-75-radius-16-gauge-180-deg-mandrel-bend.html This is what I used and it works great. Cheers, Roy |

: The cost of a bender to bend these in itself would be prohibitive unless you could really make heavy use of it. The cheapies won't cut it. These are a bargain for just 2-4 bends. |

I used the corners of a repurposed ping pong table. I am sure you could use some other furniture bends. Locost style.. |

Thanks for that link. How about the upper corners? There is a place where can I order them, or you guys using the same thing at all four corners? |
