I'm seeing donor potential here... 200 hp, 266 torques, and in a small lightweight package. Oh, and about 20 moving parts....

Kudos to whoever figures it out. Modern PHEV and EV stuff has reached an entirely new level of complexity (ignore the several hundred volts of DC.) I'll be anxious to see if it ever gets to the point where regular people can DIY with this stuff.

My understanding is that people indeed are doing resto-mods with this stuff, but the "kits" can go up to $10k plus batteries. Then again, what does an LS7 cost?

Why does this give me the urge to build something with an old flat-head, or even a Hit&Miss engine?

Okay, and like 100+ years ago, the problem is the batteries...

The Bold batteries disassembled... The battery tray is basically the entire bottom 8" of the car plus a chunk of the engine bay. Oh, and don't forget to wear your safety gloves and use special non-conductive tools...
