The dax 4x4 has been around for a while now, it throws up some engineering problems . The front diff that lives in the sump of the donor car has to be installed where the steering rack is. The MT 75 getrag and transferbox intrude through the drivers side gear tunnel ( that wont affect you lot :) )and it all gets a bit heavy.

Bob- I have followed the boards re 4wd, both here and UK for a while ( :lurking: ); even tho 7th Heaven site has a lot of pics and info, I have never seen the shot of the "whole enchilada" before. As you lot might say"What a brilliant piece of engineering"- I have a cousin who 4 wheels and have been exposed to the really big, chunky and heavy 4wd those beasts have ! Also, that is probably the most fore and aft adjustable shifters I have ever seen! As usual :lurking: Chris
