Hey guys.
Not Locost, but considering a engine swap on my daily. Donor has a wide trans so cv axles would end up being pretty short. I'm not sure at what point you run into issues? It's a macpherson strut front susp if it matters.

Thanks for any input.
Cory

Shorter shafts will move through larger angles than long ones, and have correspondingly increased length changes: make sure you have enough spline length to deal with this. Years ago a friend rallied an X19 fiat which pulled the splines out when he jumped the car and the suspension drooped more than the splines could accommodate ..... serious lack of 'go' after that.

Thanks Warren. I figured I would have to do some careful measuring, but wasn't sure if there was a minimum length for other reasons.
Cheers.
