I am attempting to resurrect an older Edelbrock 3525 "Pro-Flo" EFI for use on my one-ton truck.
The truck occasionally carries cars when it is not towing the car trailer.
The current carb is lousy when crossing the local mountain passes.

I got this incomplete Edelbrock system fairly cheap but incomplete.
Looked at getting Mega$quirt, expen$ive and complex.
Looked at the Edelbrock 2 upgrade, expen$ive!

Now looking at adapting a GM TPI ECU to work, should be nicely "Locost" if I can get it to work.
Edelbrock uses a Ford type IAC at 150 HZ, need to know what the GM ECU would be looking for.
TPS is 0 - 5V, not sure what GM uses.

Maybe I should be looking at a Ford based ECU system?

The GM TPI setups use a 0-5V MAP sensor (use the GM one), with a 0-5V resistive TPS, a resistive coolant temp sensor, resistive intake air temp sensor, and a stepper motor IACV.

The timing info comes from the HEI distributor.

Tunerpro will allow you to tune the ECU if you get a memcal adapter.

They are simple and reliable. 8)

Some people never have anything except ideas. Go do it.
Emissions & fuel economy haven't exactly been areas of strength for past rotary power plants, but absolutely no one with a soul has ever cared.

Never fails!
Having decided to keep and complete the Edelbrock system a guy who saw the sale ad before it expired showed up today with CASH!
Since I bought a used CNC indexer rig yesterday the cash was needed more than the FI setup.

I am beginning to get into some custom FI conversion work so the truck may still get FI of some sort.
Perhaps just a reworked TPI system for simplicity.
