Good day everyone.

I have a lancer boxtype that i can't use anymore because the body is not safe anymore. All the parts that makes the car mave are in good condition. And i want to turn it into a jeep then i saw a post of a lotus build using a toyota engine. So i'm think if its possible for me to do the same using the components from my car?

Welcome to the funny farm! We've got cars in this group powered by everything from 3-cyl diesels to big American v-8s as well as some only powered by their builder dreams (mine!) so anything's possible. Tell us a little bit about your Lancer. FWD, RWD, AWD? Auto, manual? Inquiring minds want to know! :D

One of the things we usually tell the newbies is to post your general location. You may be near a fellow builder and can look to him for inspiration.

That may make it a little tougher, but I'm pretty sure you're not our first member from the Philippines.

Welcome! Put Philippines in your profile location, we have several Filipino members. Recently Alfalfameister has posted here a few times. He has a Locost and is now building a Midlana and wants to do a Car9 next.

I am not familiar with that car but it sounds like a good donor. Does it use Macpherson strut front suspension? That takes a little effort to work with but otherwise this should be good. Does it use a solid rear axle? We have a hard time getting solid rear axles that are small enough in the states.

Mesi, What year is the car. It may have been brought into the States under a different label. For a while they were called Dodge colts here.
