I don't see anyone using these engines on here as far as I can tell. It's a popular Toyota engine with racing and easy to add power. Am I missing why these don't get much play here?

i know they are a bit on the bigger side, but so is my volvo 2.4 5 cylinder. I like the different and unique, and a 1jz in a locost would be bitchin! why follow the norm when you know you can make something just as good but unique. I say go for it!

Yeah they're heavier than an LS V8 and WAY longer, also way too tall to fit under the hood without a massive scoop/hole.

Not really suited to this type of car, but it's your car so if it's what you want then go for it!
