Hi
I'm thinking install a Nissan ka24de in a locost 442, but when I try to lift up

was hard to do. I need a tip from the gurus in this forum ....is this a good engine

with bike carby's and some different cams and headers, or is too heavy and weak ?

You know how much weight it ?

Thanks in advance

Felipe

I'm not a Nissan expert but from the 240s I've seen kicking around I have no doubt a locost powered by the similar motor would be more than adequate.
If you already own it and you know it runs that sounds like a great donor engine to me. Might be a bit tall of an engine but lots of folks find a way to deal with that.
Weight? Lol I'm putting a cast iron v8 in mine so you've got nothing to worry about as far as this thing moving.

A ka24de is an undersquare motor 89mm bore X 96mm stroke, no balance shafts, 3 valves per cylinder.
An upgrade to the L family motors with a crossflow head keeping the chain driven single cam early (DOHC 91 up).
However it is best to get a car version as they have a crank girdle, the truck motors don't have one.
I would leave the cams alone and add a turbo kit if you want more power.
I would port inject it with an MegaSquirt controller.
Downside is it's going to shake a bit & taller, upside is great gobbs of torque and RWD friendly.

A square motor or over-square motor will shake less but you have to rev them up to get the torque.

Do you have a KD24DE? Or are you shopping the idea?
