I'm using 17" wheels, the whole rear end from an NC. It is not heavy in my opinion, maybe a bit more, but to me it's worth it. I don't have to build it, it has multi link suspension, with all the factory adjustability and factory parts, and also adds a bit of safety as well.
I also went to 5x114.3 bolt pattern, which created a headache at the front. With NC spindles and my wheels that I have purchased way to soon, the scrub radius was off. So I had to change my plans.
NA spindle, Mazda MX6 rear hub, and RX7 rear rotors. Custom caliper brackets. Slight modification on the NA calipers as well.
