SO a friend of ours wrecked her car last week. Low speed, air bag deployed, totaled by INS co.

It's an 02 Passat with the inline 4. 1.8 turbo and auto trans

I need a project and donor like I need a hole in the head, but INS is only offering her $500 over deductible.
The car is extremely dirty, driver seat is torn, etc.
But it only has 76k miles and has always been serviced.

tempted, so tempted to buy this and build a middy.

Sounds like your work life is settling in and you have some free time again.

You and Perry need to join a help group, LA (Locost Anonymous). You both are making the rest of us look like slackers.

Those PCM's are tuneable with a relatively cheap cable (Under $30?), tunerpro, and nefmoto...

So... Yeah, could be a screamer.
