Dont get me wrong, I didnt build that car, it comes from Crossle Cars in Ireland, famous for building formula fords for many years and my car is an example of one of 12 built to compete in sports 2000 circa 1980. it is basically a widened forumla ford frame of the crossle 40/45 all the same components. The radiators are in the side pods, thats really nice because you dont have all that hot air blowing over you, roasting your feet. I am here because I have always been fascinated by the lotus seven. I would tend toward a mazda 13b with the narrow and short frame. but I would also buy a completed frame (ro rolling chassis) because that would be the cheapest part and would give me a big jump start! There is plenty of work even with that in hand.
