No affiliation with owner; just found during my daily searches.

I have heard those are great engines. And hard to find. If I were closer I would jump on it, Russ

1.3 liter, DOHC, forged internals, 8+k RPM redline stock, EFI, will bolt to 2wd 5 speed tranny from a Samurai.

What's not to like?

I think they are just about the perfect motor for a Locost. I never found one for a good price (or without super high miles) and didn't want to do the fwd->rwd conversion.

Not sure if I'm following what you meant.

There is nothing special about "converting" the Swift engine to RWD.

Unbolt fwd transaxle, bolt on rwd Samurai transmission.

I had a Datsun 280Z 5spd which I gave away. Then I had the Stellar motor / tranny which went in the garbage when I moved. Now I've got two 4AGE motors and one T50 tranny. The one 4AGE is for spares, the other I'll use.
