Frame and most of the parts are gone!

Thanks everyone for your interest and help with finding this project a new home.

I still have the Kawasaki ZX14 motor kit available. I'll make a separate listing for that.

Well after 2.5 years of not having the time to finish this build, it's come time to find it a new home.

Most of the construction and design work is done. There is a truck full of parts of all sorts that come with it. Mostly what is required to finish it is complete the suspension, get some half shafts built, fabricate the body work, and put it all together.

The build log is here:
viewtopic.php?f=35&t=10160

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I took a ton of pictures of the frame, motor, and the huge volume of parts that come with it. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... sp=sharing

I'd like to sell the entire thing as a complete package. I'm thinking $5K for the whole shoot'n match. I'd rather not piece it out, but if no one wants the complete package in a month or so then I guess I'll have to. I need the space, so make me a offer. There is a ton of stuff. You'll need a trailer to carry it all. I'm in upstate NY, near Syracuse. Contact me via email at oddsaabs@gmail.com

Bumpity.

I've had a few offers to break up the package and sell some pieces. I'd rather not do that, but if I have to I guess I will. However, if someone wants to make me an offer for the whole enchilada, I'm listening.

It's a nice bundle, just out of my available budget right now. My car funded donated a big chunk of change toward buying a rental house a couple of months ago. Still have mixed feelings about that.

Last bump before I start parting it out. A great chance to get a killer deal on the whole package!

Any chance you would deliver to Tennessee?

So it doesn't look like I'll be moving the entire project in one package, so it's time to talk about parting it out. First up is the motor kit.

* The ZX14 engine (which has already been modified to accept Energy Suspension universal bushing motor mounts)
* Two Wheel Werkz 1.5" billet oil pan
* Stock oil pan
* Dash
* 2 wiring harnesses (one stock, one modified)
* Dynojet Power Commander III engine management box
* Carb trumpets with Pipercross foam filters
* Hawk driveshaft adapter
* Energy Suspension brand universal bushings/motor mounts
* Stock exhaust header
* ZX14 shop manual
* misc fittings and ZX14 specific parts like clutch hydraulics, engine covers, gaskets, hoses, brackets, oil filters, etc...

I can let the whole kit go for $3,500. Cash is king, but PayPal would work OK as well.

I think that's a pretty good deal. Right now the motors go for around $2,500 by themselves. The oil pan is another $700, the dash is $200, and all the other parts add up to another $600 to $800. There would still be some fabrication work you'd need to do to make it fit in your chassis, but you'd be way ahead of the game compared to starting from ground zero. There is also a custom made 2 piece driveshaft available if needed.

So spring is here and it's time to clean out the garage once and for all. I've sold some of the parts from this build, but much of it still remains, including the frame and motor kit. I'm highly motivated to get my garage back, so if you see anything in the pictures please drop me a line and we can work something out.

The time has come to move the frame or send it to the scrapyard. If someone wants it they should drop me a line soon. Just chatted with a metal scrap guy today about coming to make a pick-up.

I just looked through your build log. It would be a shame to waste all that good work by scrapping it.

May I suggest that you take some current photos and make a simple list of what comes with it? I think if you posted those things to this "For Sale" thread, you'd have a much better chance of finding it a home.

Cheers,

Hi,

I'm also in upstate NY, Albany area. This frame could go nicely towards my "future projects" queue. I am guessing this is "free to a good home"..... Where is it located?

I'm in Hamilton, NY. Between Syracuse and Utica. It's a very nice frame but I need it gone. Bring a trailer as they say.
