I purchased a project car last year which was intended to be Yamaha R-1 powered and based on Gibbs chassis dimensions. I ended up not building it and upon reselling it, the new owner had no intension of using the motorcycle powerplant, so I retained the header for a possible future project. Well, I'm cleaning up the shelving at the shop and came across this header and really don't see much use for it in its current configuration. If somebody is moving forward with a bike powered build and it is by chance a Yamaha R-1, this might be for you. The quality of craftsmanship and TIG welding is superb.

$200 plus shipping from zip 18612.

Link to build log. Pictures are on page 4.

Still here, wrapped-up, boxed-up and sitting on the shelf waiting to be shipped.

I will take this from you but I can’t PM yet as this is my first post. I’m not sure if I can receive a PM, if I can feel free to send one and I’ll send the funds your way.

For anyone building with an R1 motor, I still have this header. Here are the pix.
