There is/was a guy in San Diego selling one. Look for a user name of "Robert"-something in the for-sale section. Found it for you: http://www.locostusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=18204 If it's sold, keep looking through this forum, they pop up several times a year and often don't sell for months or years... |

I have one, turbo-Miata power, IRS. Really nice Locost build. I've only autocrossed it, but am determined to track it a time or two before I sell it. Need to finish the restoration of my '66 pickup first so I can tow it to the track, haha. After that, I expect to sell it (want to buy a track bike, share of an aerobatic airplane, sailboat, ski boat. Don't know how many of those I'll make happen at one time, but I think I'm gonna take a hiatus from sports cars for a little bit for the sake of other stuff.) |

I don't know how long it'll be before I have it for sale, or how soon you're looking to buy. If I had to throw a guess out, I'd say 6 months. The car is in Pensacola, FL. here's cockpit view from an autocross. not bad for slippery sealed asphalt and prob 5-year old R-compound tires. https://youtu.be/WenLXInZ8AE |

Let me know... Thanks, Aric |

Nice! I'm sure I've seen that before and notice that it's had two different front wing/head light configurations. What can you tell me about the small, black head lights? |

And the transverse mounted R1. I've never seen that setup. |

Very nice looking Locost. I didn't immediately see what TooBusy saw. Does that transverse engine use a jackshaft to the center (driveshaft) tunnel and then a chain drive to the diff? |

My guess is that they are Dominator motorcycle headlights. There are quite a few on Amazon if you search for "Dominator headlights". They also use these on the DF Goblin kit car: http://dfkitcar.com/ |

The headlights are in fact Dominator style and seems to do the job-I don't drive it at night often and just local if I do. The drive system goes from the engine thru one chain, then to another adjacent sprocket, then to the rearend you see in the picture. And AcerGuy you are correct-I did in fact redo the lights, wings, interior, etc. to my liking (see before pics). Rich |
