Drove all the way to the Modesto CA Pick N Pull for Alfa Romeo parts.
The Alfa was pretty well picked over and I needed to get more parts to justify the long drive.
So I grabbed a Miata trans to go with the "Junk" 1.8 I have, or possible crazy experiments.
I left the engine, starter, and many other small parts sitting next to or in the car, already pulled for your convenience.
Saturday and Sunday are half-price days, so if you are reasonably close to Modesto and looking for a Miata parts/rebuild engine don't wait too long.
With P&P's fees my Alfa short block was less than $100.00, not sure what the Miata engine would come to.
