Lift seller turned out to be a scammer. :ack:
So now looking at a more expensive used lift for sale locally.
Spent several hours today taking a hard look at what makes the most sense for me concentrate on completing, and the Locost did not make the cut.

I have several engines and trans that could go into it at the right price and desire.
Kent 1600/Dellorto's and type E trans, MGB 1800, Buick v6 and CR Saginaw, Spitfire 1500, or AH 1098.
If the Locost does not move pretty quickly I may begin taking parts from it for my Dio Tipo/Alfa build that is one of my MUST complete projects.
Pretty certain the coil-over shocks would work for me, maybe the steering rack and radiator too.

I may just be parting out the remainder, not sure yet, doing more research.
EDIT: OK, radiator is new but probably a bit small for my Alfa or a Buick V6.
Shocks and springs alone cost just about equal to what I am asking for the car.
They will certainly work for the Dio Tipo, so if I get to keep them the rest of the roller can go for $900.
This should be cheap enough for anybody and the trip to pick it up.

And it is gone, Ryan picked it up this morning.
Now I have space to put the Morris Minor truck frame on the build table for modifications.
As soon as I finish putting up the new lift so that I may remove the body easily.
