Its just down the road from me 30 minutes if anyone is serious...
Depends on what the reserve is as to how big a bargain it is. Reserves generally mean over estimated value due to other needs. Which here probably means no insurance and needs to pay off bank.

KS

That dude is going to regret not selling that for $950. How many folks are going to pay a grand for a 15 year old car that is a complete write off. The one grand buy in and fixing that windsheild frame and replacing the air bag and getting it to where it would work right and be safe would easily cost more than an intact example of that vintage is worth. He'd have to part it out to get any more than that out of it and that would take forever and be a massive PITA. This dude is smokin' crack. He was probably smokin from the same batch when he drove this poor car under a fallen tree and said, "wow, did you see that?-the damn thing fell right on me!" :P

I wonder if I should give him a call and go take a look at it! I REALLY don't need it, but I do drive a 1.6 Miata, so more power would be nice! Hmmm.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me (FYI, I'm VERY new to the car building scene so it may not be a good deal): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1990-93- ... _500wt_744

If anybody just wants the frame and spindles, I would take the differential and housing. Not worth it to me to purchase this all together.

Wasn't it something like $8k two weeks ago? The deal is starting to look better despite the color, especially with the extra frame!!

both front '94-'00 Miata non-sport calipers. Seems pretty reasonable: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-00-MA ... 500wt_1112

Another listing in Canada:
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-auto-parts-tires-engine-engine-parts-lotus-locost-engine-transmission-W0QQAdIdZ222658993

Not for a full vehicle, but some engines that came out of Locosts. Not mine, no relation, etc.

Some sevenesque listings I stumbled across while poking through CL. I think at least one of these cars has been on here before. (no relation, etc.)

Neither car is mine... Or I would be out beating on them instead of typing.

The second car's pictures are very interesting.

It has IRS with inboard rear brakes and the parallel trailing arms like on F1 cars of the day. Beautiful alloy uprights also.

Front suspension is also normal wishbones with an anti-roll bar to the lower wishbone (not shown).
