While I would normally enjoy going, this Saturday is also my anniversary and I am certain the little woman has plans. Although, may convince her to go.

Plus I still have not had the heart to restart work after my first frame was stolen.

Your anniversary is probably an even better excuse than being 2,323 miles away.

Sorry to hear about the (justifiable) lack of motivation for this...I take it that means you haven't continued with your engine fabrication efforts either?

When you arrive, there is a reservation for "Justin" to get you to the right table...I figured that we might not get the best service once they hear the name Locost.

Actually I have been. The lubrication system is almost ready I think, took a trick off of my old Suzuki GT380 engine for it.

There is a story there that I would like to hear.

Looking forward to the meet.

I really enjoyed meeting with John, Tom, Justin, the other Larry and his wife Karen. A ton of talent and experience was there. As I proceed I know I will have a lot of questions for these guys.

KartRacer drove his car to the meet and it is very impressive. I plan on learning a lot from him!

Need to do this again.

It was great getting to meet John and the Larry's, and to see Tom again. It's going to be a huge help having this sizable local body of knowledge and experience to draw upon. We will certainly have to do more of these gatherings, especially as the weather warms up.

Thank you to everybody for coming out, and especially to John for coming all the way from Port Angeles with his Wycked 7!

My wife and I had a good time. It was great to meet such a nice group. I'm really looking forward to more gatherings with more people.
Kartracer, your car beautiful and very well done.

Justin, thanks for pulling this together. It was great to meet everyone. Looks to be a talented and sharing group. Maybe when the weather gets better we can get more cars out. John, thanks for braving thde cold and fog and bringing Wycked 7.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everybody and glad I brought the Wycked 7. Good conversation, good food and good drink. A little cold and a lot dark (first time at night) on the way home but a fun drive.

I think it's still TBD, but should definitely be planned a little further in advance...At least a weeks notice next time!
