Location: Onalaska, WI
Lodging: Stoneycreek Hotel Onalaska Phone:(608) 781-3060 I have a block of 10 rooms reserved for Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights. I reserved Double, Queen And King deluxe rooms.

I wanted to get this out early so you guys could plan accordingly and mark your calendars now to reserve this weekend. I hope many will be able to come!!

In addition to above lodging, I'll post some more options in the coming months, but this place is comparable to the place the event was held last year in amenities also has a big parking lot. It is easy to locate on the freeway and has direct access to the backroads without hitting the highway. Also close to Lacrosse, WI which has lots to do as well as loads of twisty windy roads and lots of elevation changes. There are vintage restaurants that have a history (if your a Bears fan), as well as cheese shops and microbrew pubs.

One thing I am working on is an Auto scavenger hunt for one day along with the general driving tours. The roads range from Onalaska south to Viroqua and the river to North Melrose and the river. I drove roads in Sept and they were fun, as well in good shape. I don't think they see much traffic.
More coming.

Camping (888) 459-9540
rvonthego.com Trip advisor top pick looks real nice
Slim pickings on the camping. This was the only one that looked nice. Their really scattered around.

Some other lodging options.
Holiday Inn Express- Onalaska (608) 218-5248
Hampton Inn-(608) 779-5000
Microtel- (608) 783-0833
I have not contacted these and signed a contract like Stoney Creek. Our rates for their are locked in until 30 days from arrival date.

That's an awful long drive for me pulling a trailer with a car on it. If there is any way Ican make it, I will.

Keeping an eye on the updates.

Great! Will there be cheese curds?

If I had a calendar for 2016 I'd put it on it right now. Instead, I'll have to wait until Linda gets the new one out. Looking forward to another.

For all you guys who need a reason to get motivated, this is your wake-up call to complete your builds. Although, a completed car is not necessary to come on out!

I will be there but my car may not be drive-able so I will need to hitch a ride if there are open seats.
I am only about 45min from there so I will just drive down.

Don't worry about empty seats. I'm sure there will be several. Russ

Chuck- curds are a must. I found a cheese maker Nordic Creamery in Westby. I am sure we"ll find ourselves passing by. Their are other little ones around too.

The hotel is 6.2 miles from my sister's house. My wife wanted to go but has a wedding party's hair to do. I may bring a nephew. I'm in!

Very cool Jim, Cant wait. I am planning a theme for the 7 treasure hunt. Car building is on the forefront of ideas.

OK, reservations are now made for Thurs and checkout on Sunday. Linda and I will be there. We are looking forward to seeing some old faces (not old, well, you know what I mean!) and some new ones too.
