Chris, I know you're hoping for a ride in one of the Locosts, but if all else fails, I'll have a couple seats open in my Focus!

Roll call so far we have:

ngpmike
hilux
smith
trailsmangasgas
vladik41

anyone else going to make it? If not I will send you all a PM with my address.

Schedule:

Arrive at my house anytime after 8 AM.
Leave on cruise around 10:30
Lunch while out on the cruise
Back to my place around 1
For those interested I have a second cruise route set up that we can do in the afternoon.

For those coming in Friday night, let me know if you want to meet up or drop your cars and trailers off at the house. I am out in the country where no one would mess with your cars.

I just made motel reservations at Economy Inn in St James for Friday night. Jane and I will arrive around 6pm Friday. My builder friend, Kent, will not be able to make it. I'll drop off the trailer when we arrive. Do we have any plans for Friday night??? Russ

Is anyone else coming in Friday night? We can meet at the Public House Brewery in St James for dinner and drinks.

We are going to get there......don't know when or for how long....trying to work in the Maple leaf festival and 3hrs drive time. Weather is also a factor.

with how much power your car has, you can cut that 3 hour drive time down quite a bit

"My Forecast" says "Sunny. Warm." for Fri, Sat, & Sun! Also, just read that Cuba is having their "Route 66" festival that weekend. :D

Some of the trees are already starting to turn. By then they may be awesome. 72 degrees sunny and dry....this may be an exceptionally amazing get together.

If I was still a Midwesterner we would still be trekking to Stockton Lake for a week end sailing. This was always a great time of year. The route we took from Nevada to the lake was county road EE to 32. There were tunnels of trees that were spectacular with fall color. Miss that a lot (as well as the boat and all the good folk there).

There's one spot in particular on US-160 between here and Branson where 160 runs along the top of a ridge for a short while. In the Fall you can look down both sides and all you see is COLOR in all directions. SWMBO is from New England (Maine) and feels right at home in the Ozarks!

The Main Street of Carthage, Mo. Is lined with big old Maples for pretty much the entire length...(3to4 miles). It's really something to see when it's at its best.

If you come up what time do you think you will be getting up here? Would you be here before we leave on the cruise or join us after?

Is anyone besides Russ coming in Friday night and want to join us for dinner?
