If you can bring one of the "Blats" through Gainesville, Mo, I have a local businessman who is interested in hosting a "Show & Shine" type event! We can probably get our local paper to cover it as well. :)

I think this ran out of enthusiasm. We'll try again next year.

Next year is only a week away. Galena was not Memorial Day weekend. I'll have to check. I think it was after.

That we saw when we were planning. We considered if Southerly held then looked toward last two weeks of May; if Northerly held then first two weeks of June. This gave us 4 weeks to look through and plan.
The Stalker windshield did get fixed. He has one last thing to fix on Stalker (right).

Am I missing things? It appears that nobody has officially offered to host a MWG and there is no agreed venue or date scheduled (so far) for this year?

I understand the enormous effort that it takes to put one on. And wish that we could host or assist in some manner. But the reality is, we cannot. I really hope that somebody does.

Chuck when it came to a date and looking for reservations it all fell apart. Their were a couple of open weeks at the place you guys where at a few years ago. I never heard back from anyone. Now my summer is booked. Try again next year.
I really don't want to do a venue so far away. I like to search out the place first. The group has hit the good spots in Wisconsin. Except 1. It's another 2hrs north though. I don't mind doing it. The process isn't that hard. But you need a bit of feedback from the group. More than just 1 member.

I'm curious...Iron Mountain area and hit the Menominee River and Chequamagon Nat. Forest?

That's not bad. I was thinking boulder junction area. Summers are beautiful and lots of windy roads all through the lakes.
