We're getting reports of sporadic errors on the LocostUSA.com site. I've checked some of the obvious things (disk space, quota, etc.) and am digging deeper into the logs. Nothing obvious showing up yet.

If you see an error, please copy-and-paste the entire error and send it to me as a PM or post to this thread, along with the URL of the page. I cannot reproduce the errors, which makes troubleshooting more difficult. If you have a page that *consistently* returns errors, I definitely want to know what page it is.

Tech support replied to my ticket in record time. I think this is good news:

Yes, today morning we found some issue with the server HardDrive, so we need to run FSCK on the server to fix them. So we will let you know before we start the process.

But right now the domains are working fine without any issue.

Might mean we'll see some (hopefully brief) downtime, but that the problem should be resolved soon. Let's just hope we don't get any database corruption in the meantime.

Yes, we will surely inform you before we start the FSCK and also let you know the
downtime once it started.

Normally it may take some few hours to complete FSCK.

Thank you for your co-operation.

I advised them to let me know the schedule when known, but to not delay, even if I don't respond and it is mid-day. As such, don't be surprised if you get the shakes for a few hours tomorrow. This too, shall pass.

I guess even internet servers need a good FSCK every now and then to keep them content.

"Dave keep up the good work Hempy",
I appreciate the tireless work you and the gang put into maintaining this site. I have had great enjoyment and learned immensely from all who contribute here. Keep up the good work.
I plan to start posting progress on a build site in the next couple months. I have been taking lots of photos along the way. I may need a few pointers on how to set that up and how to upload photos, captions.
Cheers,
SKIDZZZ
