I get free Photoshop 'cuz I work for a University now...I've got some skills (but I'm no graphics designer)....I'd love if someone could draw something up, scan or take a pic and post it...I'll convert it to digital...then maybe someone else could get shirts or something made. Maybe a contest for best logo???
BTW, if you ever need help with the site I'm good with PHP, Mysql, pretty much anything (Sr. Sys Admin for IBM for about 10 yrs, but still doing the same thing...just a different place).
Let me know, I'll keep an eye out on this board.

Though...calendars are a bit dated, so thumbs down on that one. Shirts, caps, bumper stickers, or a flag for the garage or something would be ideal.

I'm pretty much on the opposite side of Dwight. I have a bazillion logo shirts and caps--they seem to multiply on their own--but a calendar is a picture on the wall that reminds you to change to a new picture every month. Agreed they're a little superfluous these days, but still nice to have. I'm sure we have a dozen cool shots of completed cars that we could use.

I'm with Nick. I like the calendar idea. Need a warm, sunny day however to get a pic of the latest version of the, as SWMBO calls it,the 'Frankenstein Car'.
That is if my car would be included.

Making the calendars was a little bit of work, but people really seemed to enjoy them.

I hadn't messed with photoshop or cleaning up photos when I started, so I'm sure it would be easier for someone with better capabilities.

I used Shutterfly and the actual calendar creation and mailing, etc was pretty straight forward.

Aaaaaand... THEY'RE OFF! My band of pioneer pirates are off to the bowels of the Interwebs, weaving their wandering way. :whip:

No Johnny-come-latelys need apply now. I can't handle any more conscripts or shanghais until Phase 1 is complete, so don't come groveling to me! Savvy?

But watch this thread for Phase 2 Battalion Roster Opportunities (BRO's) this weekend. There will be a brief window for you wannabe's to man up and seize a BRO, so keep your eyes peeled.
