We all come here for different reasons, but I see this forum first and foremost as a social network, and as a reference second. Forums aren't really the best format for reference material anyway. If the reference material was maintained in other pages on this site, it would always be available regarless of the status of the database.

I can appreciate all the other cars on this site that aren't Locosts. Without them the site wouldn't be nearly as active as it is. But not every homebuilt car is a Locost, any more than every production car is a Ford. I can't speak for anyone else, but if I had what it takes to build a car of my own design, I might not take too well to people calling it a Locost.
