Anybody know anything about these? They're a bit on the pricey side, but not too bad, all things considered.

That's what I have. Haven't had any problems, and work great. I would have thought the quality would be a little better for the price. I would buy them again.

I'm planning on using those too. But haven't purchased them just yet. They look cool and you don't have to buy and install turn signal lights, so it off set the cost. I thought.

What did you use for a bucket?

Headlight buckets are available just about anywhere. Streetrod shops, sandrail shops. ebay

One place is Speedway, for $50 you get the chrome buckets with a std bulb. Throw away the bulb and install the integrated lights.

I also found others without bulbs, but they were more expensive than the Speedway ones with bulbs.

My brother has those chromed buckets and doesn't like them because they rusted really fast. Stainless ones are also available, albeit at higher cost.

I have those chrome Speedway buckets too. Although they are good functionally, I was really disappointed in the quality. The car has always been in doors or covered and the chrome gave up way to quick. Keep in mind this is in SoCal and never saw harsh weather, etc.

Stainless housings are worth it, they don't cost much more.

So true. so true
especially when one fashions them from lightweight
kitchenware stainless pots. Not only functional, but
a conversation piece as well.
Cheers

Actually we intended to leave handles sticking upward, but wind-tunnel experts discouraged such
an idea, claiming that it could create streamline parasitic air flow disturbance at excessive speed :-)))))

Ewhen, I followed your link and looked at some race results this year. I see Lotus 7 wins the Spring Vontage race by 0.11 seconds. That must have been an exciting finish - win by a car length. That was a fast MB midget to come in second...

Thanks for the headlight idea, it's a lesson to always look around you...
